Hello! I'm Matthew Epshtein, a Freshman at the UW in Seattle, Washington, majoring in Computer Science. I went to Inglemoor High School in Kenmore from 2021 to 2025, graduating with a 3.98 GPA, a 1540 SAT score, and a 37/45 on my IB Diploma. I like to code, write, read, and play basketball.

• Almonds.Site: A very simple joke/troll site with a voting feature. My first real foray into web development. [Svelte, NodeJS, Web Development]
• FrivolousStonks: A discord bot I helped program that was a stock simulation using discord servers as "companies". [Discord.JS, Data Structures, Algorithms, Finance]
• Elezar and kcgyiydxydu: A "css package manager" that downloaded css snippets and added them to a users project. [TypeScript, Algorithms, Web Development]
• PorcPy: A collection of various python programs I've written over the years. The most recent addition involves OpenCV and Numpy, I think. [Python, Algorithms]

• Phonebook: A very simple key value database in c. Built with blood, sweat, tears, and malloc's. [Data Structures, Algorithms, JSON, C Programming, Hashing]
• Hunt the Wumpus: A game made in my CS class for a microsoft-hosted competition. Got the highest score in code quality, implementation, and innovation categories of ~20 other teams. [C#, Algorithms, Game Development, GUI Creation, Data Structures]
